Originally from New Jersey, Melissa Rose has found her niche in the heart of beautiful Downtown Grass Valley! She recently moved her practice from its second-floor location on West Main Street to the charming and newly renovated downstairs location at 147 1/2 on the Mill Street Plaza.

This motivated mother of 3 started her own business a few years ago after she got pregnant and noticed a drastic change in her skin. She tried multiple dermatologists and estheticians and, after no success, decided it was time to take matters into her own hands. She attended beauty school to gain the knowledge and skills to start her practice, using product lines that she believes provide actual results.

Melissa offers her community a wide variety of facials, expanded treatments, and products. These include medical-grade facial treatments and organic, locally-made skin care products, along with advanced deep and all-natural treatments. Her clientele is just as diverse as her skincare; clients range from 8 years old to 80 years old. She truly has something for everyone!

"My passion for others drives my dedication to my business," says Melissa, and that passion for others is apparent in the time she dedicates to building personal relationships with her clients. Her passion for skin care excellence prompts her to go above and beyond, learning about her client's lifestyles, assessing environmental factors such as stress, health, and nutrition, then creating customized homecare routines based on their needs. She believes in results-driven skincare, listening to her clients during treatments, and checking in with them between appointments.

"I love being able to provide a safe space for people to talk about anything and be vulnerable about their skin concerns. It's an incredible feeling to be able to help others feel confident in their skin."
